The toy features a non-toxic silver vine stick inside plus flaked catnip, as well as crackling material to entice your cat. An organic straw called "raffia" is also sewn into the seams for added excitement. After the fun, your kitty will need a little break (30–120 minutes) before they're ready for round two. California dream team at Royal Pet Box. This product is grown, harvested, and dried at a sunny California cottage environment where no pesticides are ever used. This little pouch is perfect for testing your cat's catnip sensitivity or adding extra joy to playtime. Simply sprinkle a small pinch (.25 to .5 teaspoon) on the floor, scratching post, or onto a cat toy. Response generally lasts five to fifteen minutes.
You can also steep dried cat nip in hot water, let cool and spray on cat toys. Keep the bag sealed for freshness between uses. Use one to two times a week. Catnip is non-toxic to cats, however, excessive ingestion may cause mild vomiting or diarrhea. For cats only—supervise during use and keep away from other pets and children.
